In the "Twilight Zone"

I made it through my first day on Medifast. My lean and green meal didnt' turn out as lean or green as I would have liked. I went out to eat and had 2 pieces of bread with "promise" spread; salad; prime rib and butternut squash. I still don't think I did that bad after cutting away all the fat on the prime rib I think there were only 6 oz of lean meat. I only took one bite of the squash and since it was loaded with butter I passed on the rest. I did not eat my last medi-fast snack of the day. So hopefully I didn't ruin my diet already.

I wasn't hungry today but for some reason I got extremely sleepy after dinner, it was probably the meat. I fell asleep at 8 and then woke up at midnight. I am hoping some blogging and outlining my nanowrimo novel will make me fall asleep again

Tomorrow I have a birthday party to attend. I hope that I can find lean and green food there. I will bring a couple of the food bar things and hope for the best.
